Capsici tinctura normata

Name of the product: Capsici tinctura normata / Hot pepper (Bird pepper) tincture standardized
Characteristic: An alcoholic tincture made from fruits of hot pepper (bird pepper, cayenne, chilli pepper, paprika, red pepper).
Plant of origin: Capsicum species (Solanaceae) including C. annum L., C. baccatum L., C. chinense Jacq. , C. f rut es c ens L . , C. pub es c ens Rui z & Pavon, C. minimum Roxb. Product specification: SV/EC/001

Active substances:

Capsaicinoids with the major components capsaicin, 6,7-dihydrocapsaicin, nordihydrocapsaicin, homodihydrocapsaicin and homocapsaicin. Volatile oils are present in traces only - over 125 components have been isolated with at least 24 characterised. Carotenoid pigments (capsanthin, capsorubin, carotene, lutein), proteins, fats and vitamins including A and C. Indications: Internal use: in case of digestive disorders (stomachicum acre).

External use:

skin irritation and promoting the blood circulation (derivans, rubefaciens) in case of muscle pains, rheumatism and for massage in sport medicine.

Contraindications:

None known.

Side effects:

In some of sensitive patients in case of higher dosage the gastric and/or small intestine inflammatory disorders can occur. In case of long-term administration and/or in sensitive person in case of external use the swellings, skin local inflammation (leading up to blisters or ulcers) can be noticed.

Dosage:

Internal use: in case of low peristalsis and/or low gastric juice excretion up to 10 drops thrice a day.

External use:

apply the tincture directly and/or incorporated into neutral ointment base or gel in dose not exceeding 100 g of hot pepper tincture daily.

Storage conditions:

The product must be stored in tightly closed original glass containers in temperature range from +5 °C to +25 °C in darkness.

Retesting period:

18 months
